VISITS TO THE SCHOOL

We are always pleased to see visitors either during

the school day or after school.

If you wish to visit please telephone for an appointment.

CADMORE END is a small Church of England Voluntary Aided village school, providing continuity of education for children from 4 - 11+ years. The school is set in picturesque surroundings overlooking common land and encompassing its own woodland, hard play area, gardens, a vegetable plot and a pond, providing a variety of habitats for environmental studies.

We retain close links with the church of St. Mary-le-Moor. Our atmosphere and ethos are that of a family - new children soon know everyone in school, and in turn they are soon known by name to pupils and staff alike. But while our ethos and surroundings owe something to the past, our classrooms, equipment and teaching are very much in the present. Our new extension, which was opened in March  2010 by the Bishop of Oxford, allows the school room to breathe, and will enable each class access to a well equipped  library and resource room complete with modern technology. The school has highly professional staff who encourage every child to achieve his or her maximum potential. As a Church Aided school we feel that every child is unique in the sight of God and has individual talents which should be utilised to the full. We encourage our children to do their best, to be neatly dressed and to take an interest in a diversity of subjects, both in and out of school.

PLEASE DO NOT DROP CHILDREN OFF ON THE BUSY B482 OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL GATES. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND CAUSES OTHER ROAD DRIVERS TO OVERTAKE OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL. Please use the carpark or the parking next to the common opposite the school.

Thank you for your cooperation

Peter Durrant
